Check out www.rifle.com. They have windshields specifically for the Savage in 14, 16 and 18 inch heights above the headlight. I have the 16", and it works well, but if I had to do it over again (and I might), I'd get the 18-incher and cut it down if required. Not cheap ($250US), but top quality. Billet aluminun clamps and stainless steel hardware.
I tried a little Meier windshield from JCW ($40), but it was really to small to be of any practical value. Hope this helps. Ride safe.
